There is some improvement and the Dow is now up to -440. Funny it's UP to a negative number! 10:00 AM CST

It keeps moving between -445 and -415. 10:08 AM CST

I was busy writing my comment about the psychotic kid that killed 14 smaller reptiles at the zoo and fed them to the alligator at the same zoo...(crazy) when I glanced up and noticed the Dow is back near the -500 mark. gulp! 10:53 AM CST

The Dow is now -530 11:40 AM CST.

The Dow is now -560 at 11:47 AM CST. I've been wondering since the opening bell if it would dropped -600 today. We shall see. 11:47 AM CST

It's fluctuating between -520 and -530 the past few minutes. 11:55 AM CST

It currently is hovering around -500 to -490. It's low so far today was -587. Whatever it does, it doesn't appear that this will be the bottom. 12:25 PM CST.

The dow is at -547. 12:38 PM CST

Yup, It broke the -600 mark and dropped to -607. It's at -583 right now. 12:52 PM CST.

New low -629 1:09 PM CST

-650, new low. 1:19 PM CST. Will it dip below -700? Just hit -674, so maybe it will.

-698 1:25

It dropped under -700. It is now at -718 1:26 PM CST.

-733 1:28 PM CST

-750, another new low. Will we see -800? 1:33 PM CST.

It climbed up to around -693 and slipped back to -730something up to -720, then -725, now -741 1:41 PM CST.

WOW! I was tied up on business for about 50 minutes and the Dow went flying up. It's at -426 right now, shortly before close. Let's see what happens in the next 20 minutes. 2:32 PM CST.

There certainly isn't the bottom. ope, there's more falling to dome but it's part of the correction needed to bring stability to the market. IN other words, this is normal. Leave it alone and stop trying to manipulate it such as pushing for a global interest rate reduction. Sheesh! That is what is making the fall so bad in the first place! Let go of your fears and just got through it so you can get over it and then it's done but the longer you prevent it from working, the worse you make it in the long run. You have to go through it, it's inevitable, stop making it worse by dragging it out.
