Get this, I heard this today about "Joe the Plumber" on CNBC. He's not a licensed plumber, he was simply trying to buy a business. He owes back taxes. He's not even registered to vote.

It's so funny that Joe the Plumber is the poster child because from what commentators said the plumbing business he wants to buy is WORTH maybe as much as $280,000 - that's not what he would make in a year as taxable income. But anyway he's more of a symbol; they probably could dig up someone who really would have taxable income of $250,000 but it's kind of hard to present them as the struggling middle class. Oh wait. Maybe this is telling me that anyone making less than $100,000 or so a year is at the poverty level. Well, that would be pretty much everyone I know. Meet me at the food bank.
