  My Left Foot

So everything is suppose to be ok now? Um I don't know. I have just been going threw some soul searching with a pinch of withdraws. I am just not understanding a few things. Why do I have to be ok with this or that? Is it really ok? Is the monster gone or just hiding in the shadows of the back of the closet? Am I really the mother of this baby or of any of these animals? I think I need a DNA test.

My left foot has out grown my right! The swelling is making this very pronounced. I feel like a freak show. I big HOT sweaty mess dragging a foot fit for a clown shoe. Maybe I should You Tube it!

My mouth has been as big as that damn left foot lately! Wouldn't you know a perfect fit?

I came into some money. I hate it! Money makes me feel anxious and I feel like I have to get rid of it asap. I can't stop spending it. I won't feel normal until I am down to the bare bones, with any luck that should be at about 11:00 am tomorrow.

Well I guess I will get back to obsessing about the nothing and denying the something.

Now, instead of later, read Suze Orman's books about money. Afterward is too late. Don't buy them until you have read them from the library, then decide which you want.

In the meantime, I can tell you exactly what NOT to do:

I came into some money once, many years ago. I think I gave a lot of it away to people who seemed to need it more than I did. Never heard from most of them again, except to ask for more money. Once the money was gone, so were they.

Pick a reasonably small percentage to give away Get a receipt for income tax purposes. Bank the rest and forget it is there. Someday you will be old and disabled like me, and wish you were a few bucks ahead.

If you have enough there to buy a place to live, DO NOT buy a condo. They are never really paid off. Assessments zoom up, and there you are, selling for pennies to escape the debt.

Never PAY for money management advice; it should be free. Many banks have advisers on staff. Your own guesses are bad enough without the insult of paying for it. Consider anything you put in the stock market to be permanently gone. It will be worthless in no time.
Don't spend money like you have some. Write down every cent you spend, As You DO IT. It adds up fast. Especially the coffee at Starbux or sandwiches from the Quicki-Mart. Smile when you say "No, Sorry. It's all tied up where I can't get to it."

Guess how I know.
